eBird is a popular bird spotting app used by bird lovers all over the world. Helidon Spa is ranked #30 for species spotted and reported in Lockyer Valley.

They don’t make road signs like this any more! The old sign and post for the Helidon Spa Caravan Park lays in waiting by the front gate.

The village amenity blocks were refurbished in 2022/23. The rooves needed attention and new toilets, showers, fixtures and fittings were installed.

The old building was unable to be saved and has since been demolished to make way for a new building, A Convenience store will occupy one side while the village office and reception will occupy the other.

The heavy rains of 2022 were too much for one of the neighbour’s dams and the downhill side blew-out.
