Vision Statement

Our vision for the Village is to empower residents and guests to live in a socially and ecologically sustainable way. A place where people can tread a little lighter on the planet and live in harmony with each other while regenerating the natural environment.

We will encourage and provide amenities to assist with the following activities within the village:

• Reuse, minimise and recycle waste.
• Provide composting facilities for food and organic materials for use on gardens within the Village.
• Provide clean drinking water via our onsite Reverse Osmosis Treatment plant with water sourced from the famous Helidon Springs.
• Collection of rain water and access to underground water for use on gardens.
• Onsite waste water treatment plant and minimisation of water use.
• Installation of energy efficient lighting and appliances and the movement towards Solar and alternative power supplies.
• Protection of the wildlife including kangaroos and the large bird and duck populations.
• Planting of native plants within the Village gardens.
• Allow residents to be actively involved in the implementation of this vision.
• Provide a space were meetings, communication about park activities and feedback from residents is ongoing.
• Encourage like minded people to visit and reside in the village.
• Welcome new ideas and system improvements.
